Our plexiglass patterns are manufactured from high-quality, durable plexiglass (acrylic). This material is chosen for its transparency, allowing woodworkers to see the grain of the wood through the template, and its ability to withstand repeated use (if using a dead collar) without losing edge accuracy.
Our wood patterns are made of 25/32" lumber.

Weaver plexiglass patterns are designed to be secured to your workpiece using air jigs. Once secured, the template rides against a shaper collar, allowing the cutter to replicate the exact curve of the pattern on the wood panel or rail.
The wood panel patterns fit in the bottom of the panel jig, so the pattern is thicker than the jig and the panel will hold the pattern in place.
The wood rail pattern fits on top of the rail, and is toggle clamped down so the pattern holds the rail in place.

Yes, our patterns are compatible with all shapers, including industrial and professional-grade shapers that utilize a standard rub collar or bearing system. They are ideal for creating consistent arched raised panels and matching door rails.
